VESSiL
2020 - 2021
VESSiL is very first app requested by doctors and healthcare providers to keep stent implant patients informed of their heart health and post operative care in a simple and user friendly platform. Patients need it to be a personalized and trusted tool for them to engage and rely on in and out of a clinical setting.
This project is part of the Professional Practice Course at UIC which allows professionals of all different fields to enlist the help of design students for their projects. As part of the Mobile App Development course, my team was one of the five tasked by medical professionals to ideate, design, and develop an app the first of its kind. Due to the app currently being pitched for development, only certain parts are to be made available.

MARKETING RESEARCH
PRESENTATION
Initial steps were to explore the market for any medical or stent related apps. From here we would analyze the designs, formatting, and information, and sign-up process relating them. In this presentation we summarized the ones we found, the pros and cons for each one, and what we would adapt from them for our own app.
FINAL RESEARCH
PRESENTATION
Over the span of half a year, we finally concluded the project by presenting the client. This final presentation reflects the work, research, and the overall concept of our very own personalized stent app, the first of its kind. It contains information such as the marketing research, the UI/UX design for our app, branding guidelines and a walkthrough of what the app will be.
MOCKUPS
To visualize the creation and possibility of this app becoming a reality, I created these mock-ups once the class was completed.
